Prof. Ceylan Yozgatlıgil has been selected as the 2025 Educational Ambassador of the American Statistical Association (ASA). Launched in 2005 by the ASA Committee on International Relations in Statistics, the programme names a single ambassador worldwide each year; the ambassador attends the Joint Statistical Meetings, takes continuing education courses in emerging areas of research, and then disseminates that knowledge at home. Türkiye was represented in the programme for the first time in 2025.
As part of this, she delivered a public course titled "Time Series Analysis and Bayesian Approaches" on 2 August 2026.
