At its meeting held on 4 August 2026, the Academic Board of the Department of Statistics decided that a course proposed to be counted as equivalent to one of the departmental must courses must be at least 90% compatible in content with the relevant must course.
The decision takes effect as of the date of the meeting (4 August 2026) and applies to all undergraduate and graduate programmes of the Department. Equivalency requests submitted after this date will be evaluated on the basis of this criterion.
